Do I have to pay VAT?
Dependent on your delivery address and the VAT status of the item you are ordering, you may or may not have to pay VAT. This will be calculated automatically and displayed during the checkout process. If you have an EU VAT number please enter it when requested during checkout. Upon verification of the VAT number we will exempt your account from VAT on future purchases.
How do I establish VAT or Tax Exempt status? How do I establish VAT or tax exempt status for my organization on the LPI Marketplace?
Process to apply for sales tax exempt status on the LPI Marketplace:
- Please provide proof of your VAT or sales tax exempt status (example) along with the details of your LPI Marketplace Customer Account. Please provide the following Customer Account details: First Name, Last Name and Email Address. Send information to LPIMarketplace@Pearson.com.
- Within 5 business days, we will confirm validation of your tax exempt status and update your customer record on the LPI Marketplace to reflect your status.
- You can then purchase products on the store and you will not be charged VAT or sales tax.
Do I have to pay sales tax?
You will need to pay sales tax if you are located in a place where Pearson does business. Sales tax will be dynamically calculated and displayed during the checkout process.
I have a question on my charges.
If you have a question about a charge, please review your order history first.
Click the "Log In/Sign Up" link at the top right hand side of our site. If your order was placed as a registered user, you will log in to your account then review order details from the Order History section. If your order was placed as a Guest, you will enter the order information under Order Status, then review order details on the following screen.
You can compare your order history on our website with your financial records. If you have additional questions or concerns, please contact Customer Service for further assistanc.
I need a copy of my receipt/invoice.
Click the "Log In/Sign Up" link at the top right hand side of our site. From here, you can log in or enter your order number as a Guest to view or print invoices.
When will my credit card be charged?
Please allow 1 business day for processing of your credit card and email-arrival of your voucher number and redemption instructions.
